Allah is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AKBAR….we all know this to be true, but why can’t we trust him totally??? Why can’t we leave our affairs to Him with complete and total trust???? Sometimes I feel like such an knucklehead in this deen. I am looking for work, have been on countless interviews and now I am looking at the phone every 30 minutes to see if I have any missed calls or new voicemails; checking my emails every hour on the hour..School will be starting soon for my son and I have yet to pay his registration, tuition, or buy his uniforms…I also have to take the primary responsibility for the finances in my household due to my husband having to be away….. Why can’t I just rely on my merciful Lord to fulfill my needs in His time…… I know I am not the only one that struggles with this… Masha-Allah…it doesn’t make me feel any better.

Tawakkul
Whoever relies on Allah (has Tawakkul), He is sufficient for him. (At-Talaaq 65:3)
I want to be able to just give it all (all my issues, fears, worries, problems, battles, etc.) to Allah and leave it alone. I believe deep in my heart that Allah knows my needs better than I do; so why do I allow my nafs to dominate me??? Make dua for your sister and I will make dua for myself and all of you as well…. Insha-Allah….. I make dua that I will be content with what Allah has given me and what He chooses to withhold from me, I want to stay thankful to Him for his mercy, in times of good and times of trial and struggle….. Ya Allah…..Please have mercy on your slave!
